Sega Genesis

The Sega Genesis or Mega Drive is my favorite console of all time! I think it's better than the Super Nintendo and it's the console Sonic made his debut on! I remember playing the Genesis when I was 4 years old, and Sonic 1 was the first video game I had ever played. I currently own four Genesis as well as the Sega CD and 32X, two of the three add on consoles for the system. There's also the power base converter, that allows you to play Master System games on the Genesis but I don't own that.

The Genesis has some pretty cool games, I prefer the SNES more, but I also am more interested in RPG's. The Genesis had a handful, but nothing to the list that the SNES had.

SEGA Genesis was my favourite SEGA console. I also had SEGA Satrun too but was more into Genesis. I can't forget some of my favorite games on SEGA like Contra, The Punisher etc.

My cousin had one, which he gave to me in 2002, after he moved away to Canada.

Unfortunately, I just couldn't get into it. It was too old to look even remotely modern, but still too new to have any retro appeal.

I might still have it somewhere, but I'm honestly not sure :P .

I grew up on Sega, so I'm with you in loving the Genesis/Mega Drive, such a wonderful console with a vast library of amazing games! I still go back to it frequently for some fun :)
